Associate Director Operations

At AUST, our Operations Department is dedicated to fostering a conducive, work-friendly environment by delivering high-quality services in the operation and maintenance of our campus facilities and infrastructure. Our mission is to create an environment that not only supports the university's objectives but also enhances the overall experience of our students, faculty, and staff.

We are committed to implementing effective programs, policies, and procedures for the upkeep and management of the university's facilities. Additionally, we oversee the administration of off-campus employee accommodations and contribute to the development and execution of the Campus Master Plan.

Our Services

Our department offers a range of services to ensure the smooth operation and running of AUST's facilities:

 

  1. Maintenance and Repairs: We handle routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and improvements to keep our facilities in optimal condition.

  2. Accommodation & House Keeping: We manage residential accommodations to ensure they meet our standards of quality and safety.

  3. Campus Planning & Development: We play a vital role in the implementation of the Campus Master Plan, contributing to the enhancement and expansion of our university infrastructure.

  4. Environmental Health & Safety: We oversee initiatives aimed at promoting a sustainable and safe environment across campus, including waste management, pollution control, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

  5. Security: Our dedicated team works tirelessly to maintain a secure environment for all members of the campus community, implementing measures such as surveillance, access control, and emergency response protocols.

  6. Campus Catering Service: We provide a diverse range of dining options and culinary experiences tailored to the needs and preferences of students, faculty, staff, and visitors, ensuring quality, variety, and nutritional balance in our offerings.

In the event of a true emergency, such as:

  • Gushing un-controllable water

  • Sparking from any power outlet

  • No power supply to an entire building or floor during no general outage
