ABOUT CePAPS

The Centre for Pan African and Peace Studies (CePAPS) at the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) is part of an international Pan-African institution founded in 2007, inspired by African leaders and Nelson Mandela’s vision for strengthening sub-Saharan Africa's science and technology capacity. CePAPS, drawing inspiration from Pan-Africanists like W.E.B. Du Bois and Nelson Mandela, is dedicated to aligning Global Africa with the opportunities of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Recognizing the challenges faced by lagging regions in the 21st century, CePAPS focuses on advancing the African Union Agenda 2063, envisioning a united African federation with a common market, currency, defense, and parliamentary institutions.
