  • Collect your key – if you are living in the University's Residence Halls you should collect your key from the staff of the Accommodation Offices, who will be around to welcome you to campus

  • Finalize all tuition fees/accommodation fees payment at the Accounts Department. Note that evidence of payment of fees is required for completion of student registration

  • Complete your Academic Portal registration Complete your Student Portal registration (if not already completed).

  • Collect your ID card – during the Orientation Week and, in some cases, over the subsequent few days, you will be given your University ID card from the Security Offices. Your ID card will give you access to free use of all facilities on campus.

  • Check your timetable and Orientation Programme – ensure that you attend your Welcome Meeting and all compulsory/timetabled sessions, plus as many other events as you can during Orientation Week, as this will help you to find out about the University and make friends
