Dear Students, Prospective Applicants, Research Fellows, Esteemed Faculty Members, and Valued Visitors, it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Department of Computer Science at the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja — a hub of excellence in teaching, research, and innovation at the frontier of computing and digital transformation in Africa.

We offer robust academic programmes including the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Master of Science (M.Sc.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, designed with global competitiveness and African relevance at heart. Admission Requirements
The eligibility for admission to the Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) requires candidates to have at least five (5) credit passes in O-level examinations, including English Language, Mathematics/Further Mathematics, and any of Physics, Data Processing, Computer Science, plus two (2) other science subjects, at the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent.
Master of Science degree (MSc) applicants must have at least a Second-Class Lower Division in Computer Science, while PhD applicants must meet the MSc admission requirements and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 4.0 out of 5.0 in their MSc studies. Applicants seeking admission into the Ph.D. program must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. A minimum academic qualification of a pass in their M.Sc. program is required.
