AUST Hosts 2nd Reading of Dr. Okonjo-Iweala’s “Fighting Corruption Is Dangerous”

Following a very successful event of a similar nature in Lagos, a few weeks ago, on Saturday, July 28, 2018 the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) hosted the 2nd reading of the book “ Fighting Corruption Is Dangerous:

The stories behind the headlines” written by Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, former Minister of Finance in Nigeria, who is also the Chair of the AUST Board of Trustees. The book, which one reviewer has hailed as a primer for those working to root out corruption and disrupt vested interests, describes the dangers, pitfalls, and successes in fighting corruption. The well-attended event attracted many young and middle-aged professionals and entrepreneurs from a wide range of backgrounds and a number of VIPs.
