AUST HOSTS 2nd AUSTECH CONFERENCE

The African University of Science and Technology (AUST), with support from the African Development Bank (AfDB), hosted the 2nd International AUSTECH conference on Pure & Applied Mathematics and Theoretical & Materials Physics. The conference which has the theme “ Disseminating to Society the Beauty and Some Impacts of Mathematics and Physics in Complex Systems” took place at AUST’s ultra- modern AfDB laboratory building from Monday, June 25- Thursday, June 28, 2018.

PAMI-AUST, Others Celebrate Academic Excellence in Africa

The very first "Higher Education Student Fair" of the African Centers of Excellence (ACEs) was held on Monday, May 7, 2018 on the campus of the Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The Pan African Materials Institute, a Center of Excellence at the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja and 21 other African Centers of Excellence financed by the World Bank and hosted by universities in 9 West and Central African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo) attended the event.
