Three of AUST's students have been selected to complete their MSc programs
at Auburn University (Alabama, U.S.) in June 2009. The Memorandum of Understanding
is in the process of being finalized, and it will also include a future joint PhD program by Auburn University and the African University of Science and Technology.

AUST is currently in ongoing negotiations with three other universities, namely Bristol University in the U.K., the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Italy, as well as the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India.
