Each year, AUST's campus attracts numbers of speakers who lecture on timely issues, discuss their experiences and read from their creative works. In the past weeks, these visitors included Former World Bank Institute Vice President, Dr. Frannie Leautier, Prof. Calin Gheorghiu (Tiberiu Popoviciu Institue of Numerical Analysis, Romania), Prof. Charles Chidume (International Center for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy), Prof. B.A. Ogunnaike (University of Delaware), Prof. D. Buttrey (University of Delaware).

As an educational institution and a residential community, AUST seeks to provide a campus environment and a range of programs that sustain and enhance the physical, psychological and emotional health of students, faculty and staff.
AUST has a health care facility that provides free comprehensive health services to students, and AUST faculty and staff. The clinicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the academic year. In addition all students are covered by a health insurance plan provided by a reputable insurer.
On campus at FCT Hall you can find the AUST Shop that sells everything from edibles, hygiene products to university-branded gear and stationary.

The campus has a gym/fitness room, a swimming pool, and numerous playing courts (for handball, basketball, badminton, and tennis), etc.
