In line with the visions of the founding fathers, the Board and Management of the University has commenced the implementation and development of the African University of Science and Technology Abuja (Master Plan) on the permanent site situated along the airport road and institutional district spanning over two hundred and forty hectares (2,400,000 m²) of land within Phase III of the Federal Capital.

The Nelson Mandela Institution (NMI, Inc.) and AUST are calling for Expressions of Interest from developers and interested entities.
